Propellerhead Software's Record has incredible-sounding time-stretch, but when you import an existing audio file, Record won't recognize the file's tempo and conform the file's audio to your project's tempo.
Record Ready will automatically convert Apple Loop and ACIDized wav files to 'Record Ready' aif files. Additionally, you can manually add tempo information to any aif, wav or caf file—for example, an a capella for a remix project.
When you import Record Ready-converted files into your Record project, they'll automatically conform to your project's tempo using Record's amazing time-stretch algorithm, even if your project has tempo automation.
